If you are trying to get traffic directly from the articles you are writing, submit them to one or two of the best article directories and then continue writing.
Finally, you need to make sure that you are sticking with your efforts for the long term. If you simply write one or two articles and then decide that it is not working for you, you really have not given it a chance that it deserves. Stick with it for the long term, and the results will come.
